On The Spot: Jonathan Tarbox – 11/29/18
On The Spot: Jonathan Tarbox – 11/29/18
Presented by: Dr. Jonathan Tarbox with Adrienne Fitzer A discussion, a learning opportunity, a unique experience available to everyone...no shoes required As ACT has become a popular topic among behavior analysts, cautious spectators and opponents have raised concerns regarding scope of practice and competency of those who have not received formal supervision in this area, pre or post- certification. The influx of certified behavior analysts attempting to incorporate ACT in their clinical work without formal ongoing training and supervision begs the question, what is to stop those individuals from supervising others in this area?  Others have questioned what are the exact skills that should be taught to behavior analysts to implement ACT with competency, how is competency measured, and to what extent do behavior analysts even have the right to practice in this area in the absence of a post-training residency and clear continuing education requirements. During this two-hour webinar, Adrienne Fitzer will place Jonathan Tarbox  “on the spot” by having him answer these and other very tough but timely questions. The audience will have the opportunity to submit case-studies prior to the event and during the second hour, Adrienne will lead Dr. Tarbox and the audience through an interactive case discussion about ACT and supervision. While we strongly encourage you to attend live, those that can not make the live event will have 7 days to access the recording. *********************************** Date: Thursday, 11/29/18 Time: 6:30-8:30pm eastern standard time Recording Information: This webinar is presented LIVE and will be recorded.
